Three and a half years ago if you told me my life would revolve around more than just working, eating, and a little bit of sleep, I would have told you were out of your mind–out of your gourd even! Damnit, gourds, now that is making me think of food. Ugh!
On January 1, 2014, I took the first in a series of life-changing moments, and participated in my first 5K, the Hair of the Dog/Commitment Day 5K. Since then I have run over 130 races and have never looked back (usually because if I do I end up tripping over something!)
I decided to launch Work. Eat Run. Repeat. in 2017 as a central hub for all my rants, faves, and everything in between. I’m sure, like me, this blog will evolve over time. After all, little did I know that so many miles later and over 80 pounds lighter, my main passion in life would be the sport of running. I hope to share my ups and downs regarding managing a work-life balance, trying to eat healthier, and trying to dash from various starting points to new finish lines, both in running and in everyday existence.
“When you cross the finish line, no matter how slow or fast, it will change your life forever.”
